You know, it's like this...
Romantic relationships have that 'honeymoon' phase where they're all at least "okay"...
Usually they're even "good" and there's a high that you get from it, that's what baits people into continued involvement.
But once that fades...
The relationship falls on a spectrum between "meh" and "hellish"...
There isn't a "good" relationship that just STAYS that way.
I think Johnny and Amber felt some kinda whirlwind attraction at first, the honeymoon period was intense...
Then their toxicass shitheap of a relationship became a total mess and they were too entangled together in karma to abandon it when they should have.
