Her favorite recipe website lets you scale down a recipe to make fewer servings. And it scales everything down. With one fried chicken recipe, the amount of oil was scaled down so low that the oil barely covered the bottom of the skillet.
I don't care if you're frying one piece of chicken or eight pieces, it's the same amount of oil either way.
I didn't even know she was doing that for awhile. I try to do a lot of things where she can't see what I'm doing because she likes to backseat cook. Pisses me off.
