He needs those connections in real, physical life... not online.
So local dudes who he can go and spend time with, be honest with, having no fear of judgement or anything he confides being shared with anyone else.
He needs healthy, smart, honest male friends who don't know his partner, have never met his kids, etc. He needs to keep all these people extremely separate.
He needs to be able to spend time with people who he can really talk to and get good advice and encouragement from. Dudes who KNOW some shit about life.
