I just wonder if he's ever GLOVES OFF discussed what happened to him as a child?
Has he ever been able to SPEAK IT and make it known??
Has his pride always stood in the way?? Is he embarrassed, ashamed??
Are those things blocking him from FACING and admitting to the traumas he endured??
Cuz if so, FUCK THAT. Let that shit go. Let the truth be known. BE HONEST, with yourself and with others, about what REALLY happened.
Be HONEST about why you're in so much pain.
Repressed memories are a real thing too... if he can't REMEMBER what happened to him, he should go to a professional and try hypnotism/regression to see if he can uncover what happened and start from there.
If he CAN remember, then he will already be able to make leaps and bounds toward healing.
This is the central issue around Rich's pain.
