Maybe I'm just triggered by those reviews because I feel the exact same way.
I'm on a MISSION to watch ALL of Gunsmoke BEFORE I DIE.
And I'm not even old compared to age 60+ people (or the 100 year old?!) who saw it in its original run and are just nostalgic over it.
There's no 'logical' reason for me to feel this whole "GOTTA WATCH IT BEFORE I DIE!" thing, yet I've felt that way from the BEGINNING.
To me, this is a VERY interesting psychological study.
