I also gotta say, I was a little nervous about the progression of Gunsmoke through the 60s, knowing the whole 'free the titty' movement was coming and the whole social landscape was about to change into free love hippieville...
But it hasn't been bad at all so far. They definitely got more comfortable with showing kissing on screen, which I think is gross, but it's still not as bad as the repulsive stuff you see in shows these days. They've gotten a little more liberal with their approach to sexual themes, but I almost kinda like it. Somehow it seems more special and powerful when it's on Gunsmoke. And a little goes a long way. They still don't go overboard with anything, but when they do get dirty in the least, it feels totally scandalous.
