16:10 I honestly believe Rich when he says this. I don't think Rich is like most dudes though. I believe HIM, but I don't believe this is a common theme among men in general.
He's damn right about the grass not being greener though. I mean, take Leah for example... you couldn't hope for a hotter chick to kick it with. Not that looks are everything, I am not saying that. But humans are sense driven creatures, seeing is a big part of life, and yeah, it's nice to have a hot partner since you gotta look at them all the time. Lol.
But it's like... you're not GONNA find a better chick than Leah, or a better dude than Rich. For him, the grass absolutely would not be greener, nor for her. So I believe him when he says he's steadfast and all this shit. And even if you're in a bad relationship, the grass STILL isn't greener re: another person. You know why??? Because the answer to a bad relationship isn't to get into another one that is MAYBE slightly better... it's to STOP being with anyone in a romantic sense, work on yourself, work on your life, and HEAL.
That's the answer. There are no shortcuts. So say you're with an abusive partner... if you leave that relationship and you get into another one in a short period of time, you're just gonna end up with another asshole. That's your vibe. It's not been tended to, healed, raised, fixed. It's still the same whack vibe that you shared with your abusive ex.
The only way to successfully move forward from ANY relationship, good or bad, is to be the fuck ALONE, for HOWEVER LONG it may take you to truly heal, truly get back in touch with who you are, make improvements, and be READY to share your life with somebody again.
People should never, ever leave their partner for another person.
