So it occurred to me last night that this was likely product placement... in fact, I think it was the first instance of any type of product placement in the show as it pertains to a modern product/brand.
There was a boom of Raggedy Ann popularity in the 1960s, so it perfectly lines up. I will take note of any product placement I see in future episodes.
