Reddit is even less safe than FB and Twitter... I'm sure there are sites that steal/archive deleted content from FB/Twitter too, but I bet they don't last as long.
Just awful. Imagine posting something personal and identifying on Reddit, regretting it and wanting it gone... it's deleted from Reddit, but reposted on knockoff sites that exist for the sole purpose of stealing/sharing content no one even wanted out there anymore.
