20 years in various forum communities...
It's been real. It's been fun. Sometimes it's been REAL fun.
A lot of times, it's been a thankless load of shit.
I've been disappointed by people a whole lot more often than not.
Humanity at its core doesn't want to be free. It really doesn't. It wants to take zero responsibility and expects everyone else to pay the price.
Mankind expects you to let it shit on your table.
I have seen the absolute worst out of people throughout the years I've been doing this.
I am convinced that evil is at the heart of man, and that's the bottom line.
I feel bad for anybody who runs an online community of any size, and actually depends on it for... anything. Y'all are fucked, especially in the current 'climate' the world finds itself in.
I hope things will change and start going in a great direction, and hey, I'm gonna go forward with my personal life as if everything's gonna work out fine...
