In the Commodores song "Easy," there's a line that goes "free to know the things I do are right." That's exactly what I was missing when I was under the thumb of my narcissist abusers. In their eyes, everything I did was wrong, wrong, wrong. So, while the guest poster is right about faith being a major determining factor, autonomy plays an important role in allowing one to act according to one's faith.

I'm glad you are free even if the situation is challenging... nothing makes life with a narcissist worth it.

The funny thing about the stepmother is that she apparently can't find fresh people to get new supply from. She always ends up going back to the same handful of people. Sucks to be her. Lol

That's the case with a lot of them, so I've noticed. I think this indicates attachment issues/complications stemming from childhood on the part of the narcissist.
