The damned thing couldn't remember anything I said a minute later, much less follow my train of thought and understand the framework I was trying to lay down for it.
Current AI cannot build a mental model of the real world. It can only match patterns based on the data it was trained on. Once training is done, its knowledge base quickly becomes out of date. Ask any AI trained in 2019 who the current president of the United States is.
