Earth's proximity to the sun...
#8
A lot of people in the Old Testament lived for hundreds of years. Most people interpret Genesis 6:3 as saying God got tired of Man's shenanigans and decided to place an upper limit of 120 years on an individual human's longevity. (Bible scholars say God is actually talking about how much time Man had left before the great flood.)

The oldest person I've heard of in modern times lived to be 123 years old, and may still be alive. Maybe 120ish really is the natural limit. That said, I've seen several videos in my feed claiming science has figured out how to halt ageing.

I personally don't want to live that long. People are shitty, society is shitty, and mankind will never create a utopia on earth full of happiness and joy. I do not intend to be advertised to for eternity. I'll take my chances on whatever lies on the other side.
