You're old school too, huh? That's cool as fuck. Explains why someone your age prefers forums to social media. I started on 14.4 kbps dialup in 1994. Been posting on forums since around 2000.
My community's original site folded in 2005. I briefly ran a revival forum in 2007. There have been other sites before and since attempting to keep it alive. It's not worth saving anymore. All of the intelligent and witty posters are long gone. Nothing left but OCD fuckwits who regurgitate the same old banal cliches over and over.
I'm really glad I found this board. You've done a great job of seeding it with interesting threads. You haven't given up despite not having very many posters yet. You clearly know what it takes to start an online community, and have the patience to nurture it through the lean startup period. As a former board admin, I know how difficult it is, so I have mad respect for what you're doing. Keep up the good work, sweety!
