The ingredients I used...
Old fashioned oats, pecans, walnuts, almonds, dried apricot bits, raisins, and craisins...
Mixed it together with grapeseed oil, almond butter, and honey.
Here's what I don't know...
Thanks to the oil, WILL they even stick together/harden up??
Lmao.
I mean, even if it just turns out to be straight granola rather than granola BARS, it doesn't matter.
The toasting beforehand and the almond butter/honey make the flavor so great, there's no way to lose with it in regards to flavor.
There are specific personal reasons I'm not using things like coconut oil or peanut butter.
This is based on ingredients recommended for me re: the blood type diet.
So yeah, I will let you know if they ultimately just crumble or if they stick together.
Thinking they will probably not stick together, but maybe I'm wrong.
Like I said, never done this before.
Thing is, I did watch a couple recipes, but I really didn't follow them. I dunno, I just didn't.
So we'll see, but what I can tell you for sure so far is that the flavor is great.
