What appears to be frayed edges at the top would suggest the "space blanket" explanation could be true.
Who knows though, it was AI upscaling, so it's not like it's accurate to life or anything.
It's also possible that the "space blanket" is a decoy/diversion from the REAL ancient satellite that is up there elsewhere.

I remember watching it before it was removed from YouTube. It was about a well established vacation area on the Moon. The movie had an almost kinda "They Live" type of feel to it in some ways.
