The idea behind a post limit and the edit approval requirement has a little more logic behind it on my part than just paranoia though.
I'm not gonna go into all my reasons, but I assure you that I do have them.
Ultimately, this is the reason WHY we should ALL have our own websites, and run them the way we see fit.
Maybe I should add into the registration/membership agreement a blurb/mini sermon about the importance of having your own website in case you don't like the way I run mine...

Because I want people to know right from the get-go that my belief is that you should never spend your time on someone else's site, contributing your original thoughts/opinions etc. to someone else's database.
Cuz you have no control.
Cuz they may not value it.
Cuz you may not be saving your work locally so that you can always have something to SHOW for that time you spent on someone else's site.
These are all things I learned the hard/sad way (for me) and I just don't ever want it happening to anyone else.
