Yeah, I have been hardcore in the makeup game since like circa 2007 when all the "beauty gurus" took off on YouTube.
The golden era of that whole thing ended around 2012 but we just sorta...
I dunno, kept watching for a little while after that cuz it was an addiction.
So this is why this generation and the previous knows so much about the makeup bullshit.
The problem is that the makeup girls are doing today is basically all built on drag principles.
Huge amounts of makeup, terrible for the skin, awful for the self-image, and extremely detrimental to relationships.
I believe lots of makeup should be banned, but...
It's fun for photography (and film/stage) and that's about where its use should end.
