I know these people are well meaning, but...
The government has an unlimited capacity to bungle anything it puts its hand to. The episode with the one social worker pulling that apartment from under my feet is a perfect example. I don't see that it'll get any better when the new chick takes over my case from the other social worker.
I'm generally just tired of being plugged into the system. I told both of my social workers, only half jokingly, that I've come down with Medical Care Fatigue Syndrome after months of being treated by every practitioner under the sun.
And it's mainly because of all the goddamned blood draws. Every doctor wants to run a different set of tests. My veins are so worn out, they can barely find one to siphon off a quart or two from anymore.
