The notifications in Cinnamon (a Linux desktop environment) don't have sound effects.
I have my Proton Mail account open on my desktop and phone at the same time. When the phone makes that blingy Android notification sound, I check my e-mail on the desktop.
I wish there was a way to put the sound effect on the desktop.
