Yeah for me the biggest challenge with traveling is that I need to be able to get to a new rest area every night, I don't push the limits and stay at the same one multiple times in the same week or something... if everyone did that and disrespected rules that way, we'd lose the rest areas and there'd be fucking nowhere to go besides some dogdyass BLM land or ntl. forest. This is why I said they need to make free and pay-to-stay parking lots for vehicular nomads. Once they do that, I'll travel more extensively for longer periods of time.
