yeah i hand stitch my stuff too. I'm too lazy to set up a swing machine. I Do know a good double stitch.

I stitch once, then I stitch again with new thread. If one stitch breaks, the other will still be hanging on. It's excessive though... for most of the stuff I make, especially the pillow I made before these last two. It was double stitched and I just ended up seam ripping it back open to use the stuffing on two separate pillows instead.
