The best case scenario is that it's afloat somewhere. Still can't imagine they'd have a lot of luck finding it in time even if it was. Even if they were on the surface they probably wouldn't be able to get out, and if they did get out, they'd be in the middle of the coldass North Atlantic with no flotation devices. Hard to say whether they'd even be able to get out of the floating sub before it capsized even if they could get the door open. 6 ft. waves currently apparently... I doubt the thing is even that tall.
