My 5-gallon bucket, water trap killed a packrat on the second night. It was so awesome. The snap traps and poison from the store did not even work on them. But I found out the water bucket is super effective, and also, the baking soda for poising them which I'm gunna try soon. Luckily, I keep them out of my shed and carport, I have it sealed off from them. I use sheet metal and wire mesh on the carport.
