One of the most important lessons I've learned in my life is the principle of service to land, homes, buildings, and all other types of construction/property.
I have long had a reverence for historical buildings, and have experienced firsthand that these buildings have a consciousness of their own.
We're meant to take care of this planet, and I've always thought foremostly of caring for the animal kingdom as being our most important responsibility.
But I've come to understand that caring for buildings is also part of our duty here on this planet, and it's because often times, they're sentient.
Sometimes we're meant to come in, care for them, enhance them, strengthen them...
And then our duty is done, and we are meant to leave.
We serve our purpose, and the intricate dance of existence continues on as we take our respective places elsewhere in the matrix.
It really is quite beautiful.
