I had eaten some fried chicken from the grocery store that was sitting in my car before, and it had gone kinda bad.

Hmmm...

I've heard it debated that the two hour rule for leaving food out can be flexible.

You hear about homeless people digging sammiches outta dumpsters, and they don't get sick.

I guess pushing it too far can have consequences but I just wonder where the line is.

Maybe the food they throw in the dumpster just has a lot more preservatives than the grocery store chicken.
