Carbon fiber failed? Big shock. Flashback to Rush bragging that you "aren't supposed to" use it for this purpose but he "did it anyways" yay, Stockton.
One analysis I heard said it was carbon fiber fatigue from the sub going down one time too many. This problem has been a time bomb from the beginning. No independent certification firm would sign off on the sub because of it.
