Yes, what I have concluded is that when people senselessly make fun of something or someone...
Or they senselessly hate and whatnot...
They're jealous of some aspect of that person or thing.
It may not be the person themselves, for example, but it may be something they're doing.
Perhaps it's an experience they're having, a place they've been, somebody they've known...
It could be possessions they have, or just anything. It's all based in jealousy in some regard.
So that is why I am against mindless hate or making fun with no real aim.
I think maybe even that is some type of veiled jealousy in some way too though.
Like you may see the potential in someone and feel like they aren't utilizing it properly, and that may lead to "helpful" criticism.
I dunno, psychologically I find it all pretty fascinating.
