And then these people look to a doctor like they're some kind of SAVIOR?!

As if another human is somehow "above" them and has "authority" just because they have a degree, please.
Most of the reason doctors know anything is because of experience and having encountered many cases and scenarios.
Otherwise, they're as clueless as everyone else, sometimes worse.
