Like 3 years ago I thought it was burnt toast, damn thing took forever to boot up. Factory reset it and it's like greased lightning now, the shit is insane. The keyboard on it sucks though... always did. The positioning of the keys is all wrong and the touchpad is obnoxious.
Still, it works like a charm and it's been all over the world with me... I'm sentimental. The $500 model is probably better for that kinda thing, and if he's just using it to upload vids, who cares if the keyboard/touchpad is dumb.
I always use an external keyboard and mouse for Windows laptops anyways.
