This is what I gathered from a thread on another [redacted] site about the swarming thing:

First off, if you don't trust another sysop, then why are you exchanging content with his site in the first place? Are you really that stupid? Is anyone?
Secondly, adults don't need to be protected from disinformation by some blue-haired would-be nannies in Silly Valley. Did you ever consider that someone might post disinformation as a harmless joke? Ever hear of ASCII trolling, ya fucking n00bs?

Anywho, I reset the view counts on those three threads to moar reasonable values.
