It's pretty remarkable how long peanut butter can last if it's stored properly. A little rancidity is fine though, but I have encountered truly expired peanut butter in the past and it's not edible. You'll know. Popcorn's the worst though. It doesn't store longterm. When it goes off... it smells like oven cleaner and that should scare people. Damn it's delicious though ain't it!??1?11?1?!!!
