The Greasy Spoon sounds awesome... I usually hang out at The Unlubed Spork. They give 5 free hard boiled eggs but you gotta eat them all before you can get a drink and they charge for salt packets so it's not that great. It just seems dumb.
I griped about it once to the owner while I was sitting at the bar but he just shook his head said "nah it's good" and left a dirty towel in front of me.
He was all surly cuz supply chain issues getting matte paint for the big spork sign outside. It was looking shiny in the rain and that was
"bad for the brand".
I told him yo try Rain-Ex and he said he tried but slipped and fell as he was climbing the sign.
I said "Huh, ironic" and he just squinted at me.
