So check out this epically wild shit...
It's this woman who is obsessed with John Lennon and talks about him like he's there. She's coming at it from a sorta spiritualist/mediumship kinda angle I guess.
https://www.youtube.com/@lenalennon8746/videos
Wildly insane. Absolutely incredible.
She'll randomly throw on a Brit accent in a deeper voice and talk to herself as him.
I wonder how long she's been doing this.
On the shrine in front of her, she's got a pic of herself much younger wearing the circular eyeglasses, so I assume it's been decades.
I can't watch much of it cuz it's just too nuts man, but wow...
It's remarkable.
This must be the result of pain and trauma in her early life. A lot of people would happen upon this and think it's very sad, and I'm not saying it isn't sad on some levels...
But does she seem sad? Fuck, not really.
This is her method of coping with whatever heartbreak she experienced, likely in childhood. And there are a lot worse ways to cope, in my opinion.
She's got a black cat, and you can see two containers of cat treats on one of her shelves...
So at least she is effectively performing one very integral part of human existence, to care for the animals.
Do I consider her life bad? Is it one of a broken, defective human? No. I actually think she is better off than many "sane" people.
A fascinating case.
