I'm just absolutely sick. I've been put in a bad spot by a horrible piece of trash
cat-hating, cat-abusing next door neighbor. Too long a story to type out but it
boils down to now I have to watch all the feral strays I've been feeding for three
years slowly starve to death cuz she's turned me in to animal control.
I don't have any evidence against her, other than her three dogs' shit in my yard
that she's never once picked up. She's "allergic to cats" and is tired of her dogs
eating and rolling in cat shit, so she says. She's started trapping them in her
backyard. I went over to point out she had one in there, just to make sure she
knew, and I burst into tears cuz I've helped raise Tabby since he was a baby.
She damn near laughed at me. I turned and walked away while she was still talking.
He was left out there in that trap for 12 hours, this past Friday, and she strung me
along via text and then just didn't bother replying. So I had had enough and went over
and let him out. My last message before that was if transport falls thru, she was supposedly
having her mom take him out to a friend's barn to be a barn-cat, supposedly -
and the time kept passing and no mom was there, but I said if transport fell thru could
I please bring him and the trap into my garage overnight [it was supposed to rain, but
ended up not] so he can come out of the trap and whenever his ride is ready I'll put him
in and bring him over.
Nothing. THAT'S when, well, a few hours later when i went over and let him out.
That started a whole shitball rolling. And I know it's her mother's doing, who also
hates and abuses cats/animals. She doesn't even live here [next door].
I've gotten my sis onboard to do everything we can to find safe places to take these
kitties to after trapping, so A) They aren't in a trap ALL FUCKING DAY and B) They're not
just put down. But the lowlife animal-abuser next door doesn't like that, she wants to
keep trapping them and doing it her way - which is to leave them in the trap for
"who gives a fuck" how long. Regardless, this is my first ever time being reported.
I never even knew putting food out for stray cats was illegal. So now we're in a very slow
moving situation with a racing clock - trying to keep these cats and kittens safe from the
trash next door all while not being able to feed them. In this weather, they won't last long.
This is ruining me. There are not enough bad things I could wish on that disgusting cunt.
