This is my main issue with videos in the long run...
File sizes are huge, you can't fit that many on a DVD.
Everything's all well and good if you don't piss off the establishment and they let your videos stay on YT (or wherever) indefinitely.
One wrong move though, and your shit is gone.
I will be very honest, I do not see videos as a good investment in the long run.
Will that stop me from making them? Prolly not.
But if you wanna stand the test of time, you better write.
Write it, print it out.
Carve it in stone, whatever.
But video will likely not stand the test of time and neither will anything that is written online and not put into hardcopy format.
