Honestly, the damn thing is great...
5 years later and I can verify that this specific Windows machine I was talking about is STILL GREAT.
Lmfao. I actually just recently put it into storage cuz I didn't really need it right now.
While it's not in use, I'm gonna blow it out again and cover it up so dust doesn't get in. Dunno when/if I'll need it again.
Still works like a champ though, just mind boggling.
The hard on I have for computers is intense...
I love an OLD ASS computer.
Fucking would 1000% collect them on purpose if I had enough room and money to waste!
But my unintentional collection is big enough as it is, I just never get rid of 'em.
4:11 he's right, you know. Hardware isn't the problem, they purposely build deprecation into the software.
Having said that, as tech advances there IS a need to upgrade to a degree... but nowhere near as frequently as they like to try and force on us.
Computers SHOULD last for 10 years no problem. There's no excuse for them to shit out any sooner than that, and if they do, the reasons are all software based and purposeful.
