depends on what type / portion of the afterlife you're looking to portray.

some of the scenes in interstellar fit quite well imo, dr strange for similar reasons. i'm not a big fan when the portray it as being very similar to the realm we're in now. i feel it should be expressing the multidimensionality and aetherial nature of it.

was basically looking for visuals about the last minutes of life and right after death like out of body images or depictions
