We always have these nice, cool summers and then at the end it gets hotter than fuck.
It gets me every year too. Like, I'll always say to myself "gee, it's sure been a nice summer - never even got hot" and then every year about this time the Santa Ana winds blow super hot illegal air from Mexico up here and scorch everything.
I'm a baby too and now I consider 90 degrees to be very hot, whereas before in Arizona I'd laugh if someone said 90 was hot.
So what can I do about this? I feel like the California dream is a lie. They sucker you in and then fry your ass. I think California might be purgatory.
