There wasn't a "bad" season until Roanoke came along.
Asylum was good, but I disliked what they did with the Lily Rabe (Sister Mary Eunice) character, I thought it was a bit blasphemous.
It didn't really have any parts that are particularly memorable in my mind. I remember basically nothing about it.
Coven was bitchin' though. Fucking Jessica Lange is a goddess.
Murder House holds a special place in my heart as it was the first season I ever watched (circa 2014), plus it reminds me of my childhood home.
Hotel, totally excellent. Probably my true favorite season, sentimentality aside. Although there are elements of Hotel I felt some sentimental pull toward as well, mostly related to the soundtrack.
Freakshow was basically crap, but its magnitude of shite was nowhere near the blackhole of suck that was Roanoke.
