Ok, I'll admit, I don't. This advice was given to me by my slutty aunt when I was pregnant and constipated. She said it only works with Dial soap. Just the thought of her doing that made me never want to do it so I thought that I could discourage other people from doing it by saying I did it just like my slutty aunt.
