Anybody else thinking we should've had a moon base and put a man on Mars by now?

Never mind flying cars and hoverboards. I'm talking about stuff we've had the technology to do for 50 years or more. Just think how much better the snowflake generation's outlook would be if, instead of larping around in black masks and rotting their brains with cell phones, they were exploring strange new worlds, and like that.
