Trix mailbox

everybody wants to slam it into her box

too bad she only likes small talk

yet her flower box she waters and weeds

her cat stretched long across the hood

the warmth from her car ride to the grocery store

trix waves at passers by

and say's hi so charming yet a bit carried away

finally she gathers her mail from the mailbox

grabs a fence post and humps it a little

she removes her bedding and lingerie from the clothesline

singing to the records from the 80's

where she keeps all of her loved ones alive
