Corporate drones are so easy to troll. The funny part of it is, I seldom say things to be deliberately hurtful. I just call them how I see them. It's their own fault that they can't see the humor in a situation, and get butthurt over someone being honest about how they perceive things.
Case in point: I exchanged a few e-mails with the knuckle-tattooed jane today. She said something about treating an interview as a conversation rather than an interrogation. I said, "Funny you said 'interrogation.' The interview room at your office reminded me of the interrogation rooms in police movies." She indicated very politely that she didn't want to talk to me anymore after that.
Well, I figured I'd burn that bridge eventually if I kept amusing myself at her expense. It was no real loss though, as they had already indicated I wasn't their kind of people and shouldn't expect any results from them. I'm not going to lose my sense of humor just because other people don't have one. It's simply not going to happen.
