they had more traditional views i guess... get a handgun for handgun purposes, shotty for shotty purposes.
they do have a point, i mean a judge with a slug in a shell would have a ridiculous kick to it and i'm sure is close to or louder than a .44/.45. you can get a full size shotty for the price of a judge, and the shotty is a lot more intimidating and likely reliable.
got a S&W 9mm pistol and .40S&W hi-point carbine. i don't care what anyone says about hi-point, they make very decent quality stuff. i've been torn between gettin a revolver of sorts and a shotty for a while. not a ton of selection of 9mm/.40 in revolvers. i'd like to be able to share ammo pools between weapons.
