I always think back to the days of GeoCities, the days of Blogger, the classic days of designing your little free hosted website to look however you wanted. So damn beautiful.
And I always remember Wendy Babcock...
She was a Canadian prostitute and feminist activist. But of course in a young teenage mind as mine was at the time I discovered her, I really didn't judge her for any of that. I just found sheer inspiration for the way that chick could write a damn blog. She was so popular, and funny.
I guess that was around 2005 or so.
She was studying to become a lawyer and had been going to school for years, but she committed suicide in 2011... so they say, or so I read.
