You're either hiding or disguising something by holding back or confusing or making an expression cumbersome.

i think i know what ya mean. it's quite possible that movie was cut in a certain way to hide truth, like eyes wide shut was.

I like Rushmore. 

I don't know or care if it falls into that category, I'm guessing it does.
