I think Sage knows about my deep and profound love for him, but he's overwhelmed by my feelings and thinks it best to ignore me.

It's true though, when you're playing music with people, you can 'feel' their thoughts a lot 'louder' than under typical circumstances.
As far as telepathy while playing sports with a team, I've never done that.
