Its 72hrs here too.you never know, he could snap out of this nonsense he's doing right now during that 72 hours. Its better than leaving him out there. No normal person takes off to the desert and wander to dig rocks broke. If commuting him doesn't help at least you tried vs. the possibility of something happening to him.
