i am still shocked that internet ads seem to have any sort of value. i remember when ad services first started showing up, and most people were using scripts to game that shit. i've NEVER once clicked a link and bought something. i think there's only been one instance of me seeing an ad, finding the product interesting, and proceeding to do my own personal research on it. then again, i was sure twitter would be a huge failure. apparently i underestimate stupidity of the masses? or this shit has just been more illusion the whole time.
the whole crowdsource funding thing is interesting. i'd be doing streams if i had the upload bandwidth to do it.
